Moose Township is a township in Roseau County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 134 at the 2000 census. Moose Township was named for the moose which were once abundant there. == Geography == According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 36.4 square miles (94.4 km2), all land. == Demographics == As of the census of 2000, there were 134 people, 48 households, and 38 families residing in the township. The population density was 3.7 people per square mile (1.4/km2). There were 53 housing units at an average density of 1.5/sq mi (0.6/km2).

Jean Kina (fl. 1790–1804), was a slave in the French colony of Saint Domingue who became a counterrevolutionary military leader in the Haitian Revolution and French Revolutionary Wars. His career began with the leadership of a slave militia formed by white planters in the Grand'Anse region, initially to combat uprisings by the local gens de couleur. Kina eventually rose to become a colonel in the British Army, which invaded Saint Domingue in 1793.

The Northeast Siberian coastal tundra ecoregion (WWF ID: PA1107) is an ecoregion that covers the coastal plain of the central north region of Siberia in Russia. This coastal region borders the Laptev Sea and the East Siberian Sea, both marginal seas of the Arctic Ocean, from the Lena River delta in the west to the Kolyma River delta in the east. There are several large river deltas in the area that support breeding grounds for 60 to 80 species of migratory birds. The region is in the Palearctic realm, and the tundra biome.

The Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture (Lithuanian: Balzeko lietuvių kultūros muziejus) is a museum in Chicago, United States. It is located on Pulaski Rd. in the city's West Lawn neighborhood, not far from Midway International Airport. Founded in 1966 by the Lithuanian-American businessman Stanley Balzekas, Jr., it is dedicated to the preservation and perpetuation of Lithuanian culture.

The Auditorium Building in Chicago is one of the best-known designs of Louis Sullivan and Dankmar Adler. Completed in 1889, the building is located at the northwest corner of South Michigan Avenue and Ida B. Wells Drive. The building was designed to be a multi-use complex, including offices, a theater, and a hotel. As a young apprentice, Frank Lloyd Wright worked on some of the interior design. The Auditorium Theatre is part of the Auditorium Building and is located at 50 East Ida B. Wells Drive.

Bäuminghausstraße is an underground station of the Essen Stadtbahn in Altenessen, Essen. Lines U11 and U17 call the station. It is located at the crossroads of Gladbecker Straße and Bäuminghausstraße. The station has two tracks. There is a lift in operation. The station opened on 24 May 1998. Xu Zizhou (Chinese: 徐自宙; born 8 January 1981) is a Chinese former track and field sprinter. His personal best of 45.25 seconds for the 400 metres is the Chinese record for the event. He was the 400 m bronze medallist at the Asian Athletics Championships in 2000 and secured a gold medal at the 2001 East Asian Games. He broke Chinese youth and junior records for the 400 m and was highly successful at the start of his career, representing China at the 1998 World Junior Championships in Athletics and winning the 400 m title at the 1998 World Youth Games.

David Rousset (18 January 1912 in Roanne, Loire – 13 December 1997) was a French writer and political activist, a recipient of Prix Renaudot, a French literary award. A survivor of the Neuengamme concentration camp and the Buchenwald Nazi concentration camp, he is famous for his books about concentration camps. Rousset was the first person to use the term "Gulag" in the French language, revealing to the French the Soviet system of labour camps.

The Spirit of Sidi-Brahim (French: L'esprit de Sidi-Brahim) is a 1939 French spy drama film directed by Marc Didier and starring René Dary, Colette Darfeuil and Abel Jacquin. It was shot at the Cité Elgé Studios in Paris and on location around Savoy. The film's sets were designed by the art director Aimé Bazin. It premiered in Nice in December 1939 but wasn't given a Paris premiere and nationwide release until 1945 following the Liberation and is often dated by that year. The title is a reference to the 1845 Battle of Sidi Brahim in which the French light infantry distinguished themselves.
